The Advantages and Disadvantages of CRT and LCD

The Advantage of having an LCD monitor is to have a wide screen and the sharpness of image has a perfect view. It has a Zero geometric distortion at the native resolution of the panel. In terms of the brightness the LCD monitor has a Best for brightly lit environments. And the physical aspects the LCD is the most Thin, Consume little electricity and produce little heat. While the Disadvantages of having an LCD monitor is the expensive price and the angle of the LCD is limited of viewing. The black-level, contrast and color saturation of LCD’s have a difficult producing black and very dark grays. The LCD can live longer than CRT monitor. The result of the LCD is has a lower contrast than a CRT and the color saturation for low intensity colors is also reduced.

The CRT monitor is the less expensive monitor than comparable displays using other display technologies. And has a highest resolution in high pixel. CRT has a fast response time’s ad no motion artifacts. And the Disadvantages of CRT are less of brightness and also affect by magnetic fields from other equipments. The CRT has a rounded cylindrical shape screen and they are large, heavy, and bulky. It consumes a lot of electricity and produce heat.
